About The Condamine River begins near Killarney on the Great Dividing Range, flowing through the township of Warwick, before winding it's way north-west, south of Chinchilla. Changes in landuse and land use practices have altered the natural balance of many of our natural systems. Issues such as land degradation, declining water quality and the loss of native vegetation and fauna is creating problems for land managers throughout the catchment. Issues such as these are having an increasing impact on the productivity of our land and our lifestyles. As each of these issues are interrelated, the most logical way to address them is to begin managing our land on a river catchment basis. Catchment Statistics |
